About The Company
This brand specializes in crafting premium red light therapy panels designed to support people’s health and wellness. With an average price point over $1,000, these aren’t impulse buys, but customers are happy to invest when they know they’re getting proven quality.
A serial entrepreneur founded this medical device company, boasting a track record of building successful businesses. To grow in a competitive market against big-name rivals, they needed to expand beyond their existing marketing channels and build a stronger foundation for long-term growth.
The Challenge
The client needed to grow revenue in a market flooded with misinformation and cheaply-made and copied products. On top of that, the red light therapy industry is highly regulated, which meant they had to prove credibility and earn trust at every step. After a conversation with our founder, they saw that SEO was an ideal fit for their needs.
Their existing content was inconsistent, so they needed a strategy that could:
- Generate predictable revenue through content.
- Build authority and trust in a competitive health market.
- Answer customer questions with clarity and confidence.
It wasn’t enough to just rank for keywords — they needed content that educated buyers and converted readers into paying customers.
Our Strategy & Approach
We took a content-first approach that combined customer education with smart SEO optimization. The goal was to create content that answered questions, compared products, and positioned our client as a leader in the field.
Here’s how we did it:
- We focused on high-intent, bottom-of-the-funnel keywords like “Best Red Light Therapy Panel for [specific use case].” These were terms people used when they were ready to buy, but needed one last push to make a decision.
- We answered questions that came directly from customers through customer support.
- We produced 5-6 high-quality blog posts per month.
- We created list posts, comparison articles, and educational guides to convert readers naturally while still ranking on Google.
What We Didn’t Do
- Technical SEO: For this client, we didn’t focus on technical SEO. Their site was fast and relatively new, and didn’t need our support.
- Product Pages and Collections: At this time and in this industry, product and collection pages didn’t rank as well as informational pages, so our energy went into creating blogs.
- Content Scaling: We didn’t increase the number of blog posts we wrote over time. Many SEOs make this mistake – they see blogs working, then “double down” and flood the site with repetitive or irrelevant content that hurts long-term results. After the first year, our strategy shifted to updating existing content, with 10% new content to keep things fresh.
Results

The content-first strategy delivered measurable, impactful results quickly:
- $100k/month achieved in under 10 months.
- Peak revenue: $180k/month from SEO content alone.
- One blog post generated over $1 million in revenue.
- Ranked #1 consistently for purchase-intent searches.
- Customers found answers to their questions and made confident purchases without needing to speak with a sales rep.
